Halloween Countdown

I was looking for some ideas for Super Saturday and came across Poppy Seed Projects. There are a bunch of fun ideas on there, and I love the countdown blocks. Our Super Saturday isn't until Nov. 7th so we decided to do a Christmas countdown, but I really wanted the Halloween blocks. Since I'm gonna be teaching the blocks class I had to figure out how to do them so I went ahead with the Halloween ones. The hardest part was actually finding someone to cut up my stupid 4x4 post. My nice neighbor was making a fence and took time out to cut some wood for me. I'm also glad my mom brought some paper last time she came cuz craft supplies are pretty limited here in the Tri Cities. I'm REALLY excited with how they turned out. Here are some pictures Darin took with his fancy new lightbox!

  1. These blocks turned out so spooky. They are perfect. I walked into craft warehouse and they had 3 1/2 inch blocks on clearance, so I bought them and now I am trying to decide whether to wait and get my 4 inchers or just go with these.

  9. I love these blocks and I think they would be a great project to do with my 4 year old daughter! I was wondering which numbers do you put on each block so that everything works out? Thanks!
