Spring Fever

So I totally know we would be better friends if I actually posted more regularly.  But I had a fun week off learning new things and I actually sewed!  I lost my sewing scissors a couple of weeks ago which is a big deal if you are left handed.  Not just any scissors will work.  I finally gave in and used my rotary cutter to cut out a pattern. But only because it is the cutest dress ever.   LOVE IT. When I made it last week we had spring like weather.  Now, not so much.  Well, ok so we don't have the warm sunny spring like weather.  We have the blustery, rainy spring like weather.  Either way we definitely have spring fever around here.  How are you coping with your spring fever?

  1. Your sewing scissors comment made me think of my mom (and now me) She always had a scissors that was only for cutting fabric and we were not allowed to use it. Even though I don't sew - she got me a "good" scissors for if I ever need to cut fabric.
The dress is adorable and you know a cute apron for you would be lovely - and scraps leftover?

  2. That is ridiculously cute. Of course, it might have something to do with that doll of a model you have there. :)

  10. Hoo! This dress is so cute! I live in the north of Spain and even when you are not going to believe me, today it snows. So there is no spring fever over there but I've bought today my first spring-summer super cute t-shirt with a picture of a vintage advert. God bless you!

  12. This dress is so adorable!

I've got major spring fever too. How am I coping? Unfortunately, since we are house bound most days, I'm eating my way through house and home. I NEED warm weather to come so I can get out and move this body!
